Reeves Announces Stellar Fundraising Performance in Q1 2023
April 20, 2023
FREDERICKSBURG, VA – April 20th, 2023 – Today, Senator Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) announced his 2023 Q1 fundraising numbers. The finance report, due this past Monday, has been published by the Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP) and the Virginia Department of Elections. Reeves raised an astounding $183,741 during the quarter, despite the strict no-fundraising rules when the Virginia General Assembly is in session. Effectively, the $180,000 was raised in a span of 45 days, since the Virginia General Assembly holds their ‘short session’ lasting 45 days in odd-numbered years.
“I just want to say thank you to everybody who has supported my campaign,” said Reeves. “I am truly blessed to have such strong support from our community. As the Republican Senate Whip, my eyes are on November. We need to turn the tide this year, and that involves holding the House of Delegates and flipping the Virginia Senate red. I’m committed to using funds in order to bolster good, conservative candidates and help them across the finish line this November.”
Bryce Reeves is a small business owner, former Army Ranger, and former Prince William County narcotics detective. Senator Reeves is running for re-election into the newly formed 28th Senate District. The counties within this district include: Orange, Culpeper, Madison, Greene, Rappahannock, Fauquier (part), and Spotsylvania (part). Senator Reeves currently serves on the Senate Committee on Rehabilitation and Social Services and sits on the Committees on Local Government, General Laws and Technology, and Privileges and Elections.
